Terms of Service

By using Val Petz, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Val Petz is a service that generates pixel art sprites from pet photos and lets you send them as valentines. You upload a photo, we generate a sprite using AI, and you share a link with your recipient.

• Val Petz offers two tiers: Quick ($2.14) and Premium ($4.28). All prices are in USD.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. You pay before your sprite is generated.
• Because sprites are generated immediately after payment, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for completed generations.
• If sprite generation fails and you do not receive a working valentine, contact us for a full refund.

• You retain ownership of photos you upload.
• By uploading, you grant Val Petz a limited license to process your photo for sprite generation.
• You are responsible for the content of your valentine messages. Do not use Val Petz to send harassing, threatening, or illegal content.
• We reserve the right to remove any valentine that violates these terms.

• Sprites are generated by AI and may not perfectly resemble your pet.
• AI outputs may occasionally be unexpected or inaccurate. We do not guarantee any specific result.
• Generated sprites are provided for personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, obscene, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to abuse, exploit, or reverse-engineer the service
• Use automated tools to spam uploads or payments
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

Val Petz is provided “as is” without warranty. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that the service will be error-free. We may discontinue the service at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Val Petz and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Val Petz after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state in which the operator resides.
